Create safer environments for patrons and staff

Developed for staff and management who work in bars, music venues, festivals and more, this training examines how venues and establishments can empower their staff to be engaged bystanders.

This workshop:

• explores the root causes of sexual violence
• addresses common myths and misconceptions around sexual violence
• examines consent, policies and legal obligations to address sexual harassment.

This training will highlight factors that may prevent people from intervening and introduce ways to address harassment. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of the role engaged bystanders play in the community as well as practical tools for creating safer venues and establishments for colleagues and patrons.
